Mission

More Money = More Diabetes!

If you look at our data, you can see that there is a direct correlation between the donations you make and and the growth of diabetes.

Here are some amazing stats from the CDC

In the United States alone…

38.4 million people have diabetes—that’s 11.6% of the US population.
29.7 million people have been diagnosed with diabetes.
8.7 million people who have diabetes have not been diagnosed and do not know they have it.
97.6 million US adults have prediabetes.
27.2 million adults 65 or older have prediabetes.

And even more on the way!

Diabetes will continue to grow and grow for decades into the future:

But there is even more!

The global diabetes prevalence in 2019 is estimated to be 9.3% (463 million people), rising to 10.2% (578 million) by 2030 and 10.9% (700 million) by 2045.

We Won’t Take YOUR Money

We need money, lots of money. However, after taking billions upon billions of your donations and finding no cure, we came to the realization that it isn’t right to ask you for more.

But then it hit us!

We CAN Take Drug Money

We strongly believe that donations should deliver results. While we can’t do that for you, big pharma companies are a whole different story. For them we deliver BIG.

The growth of diabetes worldwide is a huge win for the big drug companies.

We always wondered why companies making diabetes drugs would fund an organization trying to find a cure. Every year that didn’t happen we were worried they might stop donating.

But then it finally hit us! They actually make billions of dollars selling drugs!

OMG! What were we thinking! We explained to them that not finding a cure actually INCREASED their revenue!

While they were disappointed that we hadn’t found a cure, they reluctantly agreed to continue to give more money, in the hope of someday finding a cure.

They agreed to do so even if it takes forever. We promised them in return  that we will do whatever we can to make sure it does.
